Lincoln Steakhouse & Bar

I went with a bit group from work and had surf and turf basically. They gave my steak to someone else so I didn't actually get my meal until everyone else had finished 15 minutes later. When I got it although I asked for rare it was cold. And the prawns I had with it tasted off. I tried to eat them out of courtesy and I'm paying for them but 🤮. They've made me afraid of prawns now. They didn't charge me for the prawns and comp my desert but I would never go again. Just glad it was January so I only had to pay half price! Still wasn't worth it. I expected soooo much more!

Staff where friendly but service was very slow, we was in the restaurant over two and a half hours. My husband asked for a 250ml red house wine, he wasn’t even told how much it was or what it was. We had the three course meal set menu for two which was stated on the website as £19.95 each we had a house red wine 250ml and a coffee. We could not work the bill out as it came to 65.00 we had a voucher for £50.00 then the girl said you have £14.95 to pay, on the receipt it just stated £14.95 so by my adding up if the meal came to £39.90 one wine and one coffee was £25.00.We had a choice of four on the set meal, but they only had three of the choices, we ordered burgers I have never had anything so dry in all my life we had to keep having water to wash it down, the only reason I gave two stars was because the girl that serviced us was very polite, definitely would not go again.

Had calamari for starters, was very rubberyFor main had the 6oz fillet and asked for med-rare and came rare, not a problem as I don't mind either way, but it was very tough and chewy so spent a long time in the mouth. For £27 I expected it to melt in my mouth. Onion rings was really nice. Girlfriends burger was nice. And the deserts was cheese cake and sticky toffee pudding. Both very nice. Just a shame about the most expensive item been terrible. Is a steakhouse after all, and this is their bread and butter. Never mind.
